You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Lark has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom. The spacious accommodations at Lark are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom apartments, with a private bedroom-bathroom suite for each resident.

Yes, each apartment at Lark has a furniture package that includes a full-size bed, desk and chair and dresser in each bedroom. The living area includes a TV, sofa, coffee table, extra mini fridge and bar stools. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model apartment.

The standard term is August 18, 2022 to July 31, 2023, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Other alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff. Click here to see a sample Housing Agreement.

After a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to secure their financial obligation in one of three ways: by providing a qualifying guarantor (often a parent); by pre-paying the final two installments; or by purchasing a third-party guaranty from our partner, Leap. In limited cases, we may also waive the requirement for a financial guaranty if a resident has sufficient income of their own.

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Lark also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Your living costs at Lark can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Lark. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Nearly all the residents at Lark are students at Ole Miss. The per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, Lark is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired residence.

Lark has a monitored fire-sprinkler system, along with individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also available 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

Lark is a pet-friendly community, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Yes, Lark offers free on-site parking for residents and guests.

The University shuttle bus to campus picks up at the front of the community approximately every 20 minutes, Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm when class is in session.
